Vignettes III

In Vignettes III, the author takes the reader to new places both in Iceland and abroad. The inspiration for these narratives can be found in contemporary events, various kinds of natural disaster and changes with the structure of Icelandic society over the past century. As in his previous two works, Ármann Reynisson takes the reader by surprise, opens up vistas into a variety of worlds, and shows many insights into human behaviour, and often with a stroke of unexpected boldness. The narratives are
suggestive of strongly visual short films and are wellsuited to reading out loud. These vignettes are intended to be relaxing and to give the reader food for thought at the end of a busy day.
